The WA-87 R2 flight case provides safe housing for a WA-87 R2 microphone system for travel or storage. Made out of aluminum for strength and low weight, the case's top lid is dressed in soft ribbed foam, while the main compartment features rubberized foam that is precisely molded to hold all of the components of the WA-87 R2 microphone system safely and securely. Please note that this is for the WA-87 R2 and not for the original WA-87.

Nothing downstream recovers what the capsule missed.

What is the Flight Case for WA-87 R2 Microphone?

Microphone choice sets the ceiling for everything that follows. Preamps, conversion and plugins can shape a signal but none of them can add detail the capsule never captured, which is why the microphone is the one place worth spending first.
