METROPOLITAN SERIESThe Metropolitan Series TM4CE guitar is a finely balanced blend of classic acoustic design and modern performance features, crafted to meet the needs of discerning players. Its orchestra body shape produces a clear, full-bodied tone with exceptional balance across the frequency range, making it equally suited for expressive fingerpicking or robust strumming. The comfortable contours and dimensions provide a natural playing experience, encouraging long practice sessions or extended performances without fatigue. At the heart of the TM4CEs sound is a spruce top, prized for its bright, articulate response and dynamic range. Complementing this is the koa back and sides, adding warmth, depth, and a touch of midrange sweetness to the tonal profile. The top, back, and sides are constructed using high pressure laminate (HPL), ensuring remarkable durability and stability in varying climates without compromising the guitars tonal character. The natural satin finish showcases the koas striking grain while giving the guitar a smooth, organic feel. This finish reduces surface glare under stage lights and contributes to the instruments understated elegance. Equipped with the Tanglewood TEQ-G3 EQ system, the TM4CE is ready for the stage or studio, allowing players to amplify their sound with precision. The onboard electronics deliver a faithful reproduction of the guitars natural tone, with intuitive controls that make it easy to tailor the output to suit any performance environment.Whether played acoustically or plugged in, the Metropolitan Series TM4CE offers a harmonious balance of projection, clarity, and warmth. Its robust construction ensures it will withstand the demands of travel and performance, while its refined tone makes it a joy to play in quieter settings.
