What is the XS-62S Hd Video Switcher?

Roland builds these around the reality that most productions do not have separate video and audio operators. Audio mixing sits on the same surface as the switcher, so levels, keys and transitions are reachable without moving between two desks. Scene memories and macros collapse repeated sequences into one button, which is what makes a single-operator show survivable.

How does it connect?

What are the key specifications?

• 4 SDI inputs (with de-interlacer)
• 2 HDMI inputs (scaled)
• RGB/COMPONENT/COMPOSITE input (scaled) - shared with HDMI Input 6
• 2 SDI Outputs assignable to PGM, PVW, AUX
• 2 HDMI outputs assignable to PGM, PVW, AUX

Why choose Roland?

Roland came to video from the audio side, and it shows in the layout. For a church, school or venue where one volunteer runs the whole production, that integration is the difference between a show that works and one that does not.
