Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the RD5H without a speaker cabinet?
Yes. The built-in dummy load lets you run the XLR emulated output with no cabinet connected, which most tube heads cannot do safely.

What does the T.S.S. switch do?
ToneStackShift moves the midrange contour across three voicings, from tight and scooped to mid-forward.

Does the RD5H have an effects loop?
Yes, a Class A discrete instrument-level loop.

What cabinet impedance does it need?
8 ohms minimum through the external speaker jack.
