The Electro-Voice EVID 4.2TW is an installation loudspeaker from EV's EVID series.

It runs on 70V/100V distributed systems via transformer taps, the standard for multi-zone commercial audio where speaker counts outnumber amplifier channels. It is one of the most widely installed commercial loudspeaker families in North America. That is why the EVID range shows up constantly in restaurants, retail floors, hospitality, and houses of worship.

Every EV installation loudspeaker is voiced to sit consistently alongside the rest of the family, so systems can mix models across zones without the sound changing character from room to room.
