The CAD Audio D85 is a compact dynamic snare drum microphone. It is purpose-built for drum duty, handling high SPL up close while rejecting bleed from the rest of the kit.

It covers 80 Hz - 20 kHz with a cardioid pickup pattern on a dynamic element, keeping the source in focus while pushing room noise and bleed to the background. It is voiced for the job: mount it, gain it up, and the kit sounds like a record.

Victory Musical Instruments is an authorized CAD Audio dealer. Orders ship free, Miami locals can pick up same day, and our team uses and installs this gear, so if you are not sure it fits your application, ask us before you buy.
