Cambridge Audio CXA81 Mk II is an 80 watt per channel Class AB integrated amplifier with a toroidal transformer, an ESS ES9018K2M DAC for files up to 24-bit/384kHz and DSD256, balanced XLR, TOSLINK, coaxial and USB Audio inputs, and Bluetooth aptX HD. It is the center of a CX Series system, in Black or Lunar Grey.

Cambridge re-engineered the signal path of the original CXA81 with premium parts end to end and an upgraded DAC. A large toroidal transformer with dual taps into the left and right of the amp board gives each channel its own supply.

Digital sources connect over optical, coaxial and USB Audio, analog sources over RCA or balanced XLR, and phones over Bluetooth aptX HD. A second set of speaker outputs covers another room. It is Roon Tested.
